@paulo: First of all: I would show you the code, but my boss doesn't allow to publish any kind of code produced during work, sorry about this but I can't change it and I don't want to loose my job. I tried to be as exact as i could with the description of my problem, If it is not exact enought than you can say a word or ask for information's or just don't respond. I thought this is a mail-list to ask questions about iText (this is written in the Internet) and so I did. If I was wrong, than I am sorry about that. If I wrote some stuff that affront someone than I am sorry about that, my English is not that good but I give my best. Next time please ask me directly if you have a question, or indicate me if I wrote crap, but strike the right note please!
And now back to Topic, thanks to a (friendly) user from another mail-group I found a solution: I declared the global variable holding the data as static. My understanding of this solution (and the problem) is that by calling document.newPage() a new Controller is created, where of course the global variable is null... . can someone approve this guess? Thanks for the help and the quick responses Tim P.S.: If you still want to see a working example for this Problem I will create it at home again and send it around. -------- Original-Nachricht -------- > Datum: Tue, 3 Jun 2008 17:25:06 +0100 > Von: "Paulo Soares" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > An: "Post all your questions about iText here" > <itext-questions@lists.sourceforge.net> > Betreff: Re: [iText-questions] NullPointerException in onEndPage > So you want us to find a mistake in your code that we never saw?
