Which is why you founded 1t3xt.com, IIRC.  Not to "charge for iText" per se, but
for enhancements, classes, and so forth.

You mispeledd my last name in the comment, and feel free to include it in the
next edition.  I just poked around in the PDFReference a bit and guessed at what
would produce results, you actually got it to work.

BTW: This whole luminosity mask thing got me thinking about shading patterns.  I
went digging into the spec to see how they work.  Yow.  So imagine my surprise
to see that they're supported in iText.  Impressive.
