No. It's iText job to guarantee that the conversion from a String to a byte[]
is done using an explicit encoding and not rely on the machine encoding. This
is done in PDF but in RTF you have lots of:
private static final byte[] ROW_CELL_SPACING_RIGHT = "\\trspdr".getBytes();
This should be:
private static final byte[] ROW_CELL_SPACING_RIGHT =
DocWriter.getISOBytes("\\trspdr");
