hi paulo..
you know what, i tried your codes and it is working fine too, and i can see
the barcodes...
so i was thinking that i might have done something wrong with my codes...
and this is what i found out:
1. if i'm dynamically getting the pdf field names from our xml (we have an
xml that we feed to our PDFFileCreator to map the pdf field names and the
database column names so that our PDFFileCreator would know where to write
what) and i call this method: form1.setField(pdfFieldText, strData); the
barcodes won't get printed and just displays the texts
notes: pdfFieldText is a String and is our placeholder for pdf
field names (ex: BARCODE, NAME, etc)
notes: strData is the actual value (ex: 1234)
2. but if i hard coded the pdfFieldText's name as "BARCODE"... like:
form1.setField("BARCODE", strData); instead of dynamically getting the pdf
field name, that does the trick and i can see the barcodes just fine... my
stamp.setFormFlattening(true); is even set to true but still all of my
different barcodes are showing on all of my 10 PDF pages..... (the
PDFFileCreator is creating 10 PDF pages - one for each barcode, because the
database is returning 10 barcodes).....
do you know why this is the case?
thanks!
- k
