That's confusion to me. The announcement was > that 5.0.0 and on would be AGPL yet 4.1.6 SVN revision 99 to 106 (at least) > has had the license changed from LGPL/MPL to AGPL.
We started preparing the move to AGPL a long time ago, and we knew in advance that, even with a "big bang" approach, it would take several months to finalize the migration. The same goes for people who want to migrate from iText 2.1.7 to iText 5.0.0: it's not something you can do overnight. We chose to do this in December, because this is typically a "slow month". It's our experience that, with the year-end in sight, people postpone decisions. -- This answer is provided by 1T3XT BVBA http://www.1t3xt.com/ - http://www.1t3xt.info ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Return on Information: Google Enterprise Search pays you back Get the facts. http://p.sf.net/sfu/google-dev2dev _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list iText-questions@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions Buy the iText book: http://www.1t3xt.com/docs/book.php Check the site with examples before you ask questions: http://www.1t3xt.info/examples/ You can also search the keywords list: http://1t3xt.info/tutorials/keywords/
