Yes, that would be the idea.  Ok, let me tell you the whole story.
 Bookmarks may not be exactly what I'm looking for here.  What I really want
to do is be able to take a Word document, put some kind of markers in it,
convert it to PDF (via Word PDF export) and then be able to plug values into
the PDF at those marker points.  This may not be possible, I'm just looking
at options.  Main thing is that I have to start with a Word doc and end up
with a filled out PDF somehow.  Also, I have to do this on the fly on a web
server.  I have tried solutions that attempt to convert the Word doc (it's
actually an RTF) to a PDF on the fly on the web server but have not found
anything that makes it look like it does in Word and that is a requirement.
 That is why I was trying to convert to PDF in Word and then plug in the
values to the PDF.  Any other ideas how I could do this?
