I must admit that I'm somehow too. I imagine the person asking the question working full time on one application, wanting to cut corners by demanding a working example from the list. I compare with my situation: I'm working on different projects at the same time (some paid assignments, but certainly not all), not taking enough time off to load my batteries. The comparison is probably wrong in many cases, but when I see people who say "it doesn't work" or (in the case of the font problem last week) repeat the same (already answered) question over and over again, I respond in a way that isn't acceptable. Mea culpa. Sometimes it would be better to leave a question unanswered than to respond. Anyway, you gave very good advice. Your mail reads as a "mailing list policy".
