The operating system Should Not Matter... this is Java, after all. I
use windows 7 64-bit myself, and have had no such problems... but then I
don't use .tif files either.

I suggest you run your app again with a 32-bit JVM, on the grounds that
you're dealing with a word-size bug (in iText or the underlying tiff
code for your JVM).

Subject: [iText-questions] Pdf convertor not working on Windows
7

        Hi,

I am using iTextSharp to convert .tif files to .pdf file in one
of my projects. I am using version 4.1.2.0 in Windows XP (32 bit OS)and
it is working fine.

But now I have requirement to run this application (Windows
forms Application) on Windows 7 (64 bit OS)machine but it is not
working properly. When I run this application on windows 7 , all .tiff
files converting .pdf files with black background.

Can you please confirm that it should work on Windows 7 or what
needs to be required to run this under Windows 7?

        Regards,

        Kailash
