That it ever fires tells me the script is added properly. That it fires
intermittently tells me there's a bug somewhere between IE and Reader X.

Does Reader X by itself show the same problem?

        Subject: [iText-questions] Having problem with "done printing"
action

        I am having problems with the "done printing" action working on
a consistent basis. There are some times it works and some times it
doesn't.
        It is very inconsistent....even on the same document.

        I am using IE8 & Adobe Reader 10 for the viewing and printing.

        PdfAction donePrintingAction =
PdfAction.javaScript("app.alert(\'Document did print \');
\r",pdfWriter);
        // PdfAction donePrintingAction =
PdfAction.javaScript("app.launchURL(\'" + afterPrintURL +
"\');",pdfWriter);
        pdfWriter.setAdditionalAction(PdfName.DP, donePrintingAction);

        Any ideas what may be the problem?
        Greg
