When just using the "print button" within Adobe Reader X, the "donePrintingAction" does not get fired. If I do the following also, it does get fired: PdfAction autoPrintingAction = PdfAction.javaScript("this.print(true);",pdfWriter); pdfWriter.setOpenAction(autoPrintingAction); One other side note, after I do the open action, the print button now fires the donePrintingAction (in the same session).
