As you suggested, I checked with listing 8.18 and the output is just the following line: XFA form
I suppose this means I have no AcroFields. My form is the same created by Bruno Lowagie in section 8.6.2 of his book plus: a text field and an image in the Master page a text field below the subform "movie" I successfully fill the form according to listing 8.28, but I cannot fill the two text fields I added to the original form. Maybe I should create a XFA form with an AcroForm counterpart. How can I do that ? -- View this message in context: http://itext-general.2136553.n4.nabble.com/How-to-fill-the-static-fields-of-a-XFA-based-form-tp3638422p3643135.html Sent from the iText - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
