Good illustration .. but sometimes I say, my bike is a "beast" .. So, you know, it is all about perspective !! :D
anyway, back to our technical discussion, I am very much aware that pdf is not meant for editing. That is why I told about my "use cases". I need to read from a pdf, translate it and write it to another pdf, retaining all other document properties. And, I have seen several people are already doing it. Exempli gratia, refer to this site: http://www.onlinedoctranslator.com/ , upload a pdf, choose a translation languge, and click translate. You will get the pdf translated. If you have a solution, that is, if it is possible with itext, please provide a sample code. If you have interest in document translation, you can browse through my open source project @ http://code.google.com/p/google-document-translator/ -- View this message in context: http://itext-general.2136553.n4.nabble.com/replace-text-from-a-pdf-file-tp3805331p3806500.html Sent from the iText - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Doing More with Less: The Next Generation Virtual Desktop What are the key obstacles that have prevented many mid-market businesses from deploying virtual desktops?
