I wish it would be that simple.. unfortunately it's not. Have you ever tried
that?
What you are saying won't work in Adobe Reader - barcode is covered with a
big gray rectangle. It will work in Acrobat, but I can't expect that my end
user will have Acrobat.

So, iText can only generate static (with a given string) barcode? What if I
build the whole form using iText? Could I implement DataMatrix barcode that
would be dynamically changing according to user input than?
