Subject: [iText-questions] form filling with password protected pdf documents
Hi, I’m trying to fill a secured pdf, flatten it, then save it. When I try to
open the stamper on the pdfreader, it throws a bad password exception saying
“PdfReader not opened with owner password”
I don’t have the password as this pdf comes from a 3rd party.
I was able to get around it by commenting out the check for if it was
openedwithfullpermissions and the throwing of the exception in PdfStamperImp’s
internal constructor, and it works fine, all though I’m sure on some secured
docs it will probably break, and modifying the source on a 3rd party library
kind of sucks, especially when there’s a new version.

Is there a correct way of doing this? Or will I need to use this workaround?
