Ah right, I thought that leading has something to do with first-line indent
or something and that rise was something related to superscript, but now I
guess they are not, so please ignore that request.

 

I'll try to detect superscripts using font size and vertical position etc.

 

One last thing: I have used the SVN link you have provided, but still do not
see word and character spacing getters in TextRenderInfo. The last check-in
appears to be from September 01. BTW, I'm using iTextSharp and not iText, so
I changed your URL accordingly and it appeared to work.
