Hi Nils, Rangel refers to our extension which is available for free and without subscription at http://opar.perl-services.de, It also provides other CI-attribut types than just CI-Attachments, which have been proved to be useful, e.g. CIClassReference. This attribute type can be used set up complex CIs or automatically link CIs by storing attributes that refer to CIs. Thus it's possible to keep track of where a CI has been located, which is not possible just by linking it with the CI-class location - see http://forums.otrs.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=8766 or OPAR for more information.
