setting DRAWSIZE instead of RASTERSIZE is not working for me. I get a tiny
glcanvas!!

The IupCanvas (and so the IupGLCanvas has a 1 pixel border by default. See
the IupCanvas BORDER attribute documentation.
Instead of using RASTERSIZE, you can use DRAWSIZE, or the resize_cb
parameters.
