Hello Ross, Thanks for taking the time to contact us regarding this issue. So far I am unable to reproduce this issue. I downloaded the evaluation copy of PHP Encoder[0] to create some test files:
./ioncube_encoder php-info.php -o test_ioncube.php ./ioncube_encoder54 php-info.php -o test_ioncube54.php Both of these pages loaded up without any errors. Here is information about the system I used to test: # rpm -q httpd httpd-2.2.15-30.el6.centos.x86_64 # rpm -qa |grep php php54-ioncube-loader-4.6.0-1.ius.centos6.x86_64 php54-5.4.27-1.ius.centos6.x86_64 php54-cli-5.4.27-1.ius.centos6.x86_64 php54-common-5.4.27-1.ius.centos6.x86_64 # cat /etc/issue CentOS release 6.5 (Final) Kernel \r on an \m # uname -r 2.6.32-431.11.2.el6.x86_64 A few things to note. First, there is no compiling involved with this RPM. It just places the files from the tar ball into correct locations on the server. Since this is the case, I am not sure this is an issue in the way we package ionCube loader, but an issue with the ionCube loader and/or the code in question. If you feel that this issue is tied to the way we package ionCube loader, can you provide more information on how we can reproduce this issue. Also, the past few releases of php54-ioncube-loader did not actually upgrade the application as I forgot to update the source tar balls.
