When I creating the updated RPMs (release 2), I was running into some issues with the upstream patch. Those issues were silly errors on my end. I ended up just recreating the patch file manually.
Since then, I have worked out the why the patch was not applying and updated RPMs (release 3) have been built with the patch straight from PHP. This includes the header showing Remi Collet created this patch.
