If you are using X11, then you should be using an IVI build, not an IVI-Wayland build. The January version of IVI-Wayland still booted with X, but the more recent versions do not.
Unfortunately the last stable version of Tizen on tizen.org that included EMGD for Tunnel Creek was in Sept 2012. The EMGD team has moved on from Tunnel Creek and decided not to provide new updates to Tizen for this chip after the Sept 2012 preview. Actually I downloaded the latest on 21-Jan, luckly it worked well on my Intel Core2duo laptop, in fact browser worked, I could run few HTML5 apps in it. Finding it stable I though it shall similarly work on my board. Slowly layers started opening where I found EMGD is used in for the board I am using and latest EMGD x11 driver is not compatible with X11 1.13.x, thinking it to be related issue I spend much time searching here and there. Will try feb 6 image and update the post.
