I've been able to run it, but we can't get the graphic system to work. I
used this, from the instructions for Pre-3.0:

Converting the image to a VMware Virtual Disk image (vmdk)
- bunzip2 tizen_{date}_ivi-mbr-i586-sdb.raw.bz2
Convert the Tizen IVI pre-3.0 image into a VMDK format (VMware Virtual Disk
format)
- qemu-img convert -f raw -O vmdk tizen_{date}_ivi-mbr-i586-sdb.raw
tizen-ivi-pre-3.0.vmdk
