Subject: Re: Tizen with Qt

QtWayland is just one component if I understand correctly. I think we should
create a new category for all 11 Qt repositories or alternatively have one Qt5
component that serves as a catch-all for all issues.

Thoughts?

I think the one Qt5 component will be sufficient. We need to have in mind that
whole development is performed in qt-project. The changes are merged from
qt-project.org<http://qt-project.org> into tizen.org<http://tizen.org>. Hence I
believe we need to consider different types of bugs:

1. Packaging and configuration bugs. Related to Qt configuration in tizen,
packages dependency, security privileges.
2. Bugs in Qt. Sometimes related to Qt Tizen Integration. Sometimes affect more
wider scope of platforms but only appear in Tizen.

In my opinion the first one should be submitted to
bugs.tizen.org<http://bugs.tizen.org> the latter to
bugreports.qt-project.org<http://bugreports.qt-project.org> (there is already
QtPorts:Tizen component there). If it is not clear how the bug should be
classified then in my mind the more suitable receiver will be
tizen.org<http://tizen.org>. We have sufficient infrastructure here to check it
out.

Currently it doesn't make big change because in practice I will dispatch these
bugs and I'm involved in both projects.
[Geoffroy] I prefer that all bugs are filed on tizen.org even if it's also an
upstream bug. I am of the opinion that if such bug should also be reported
upstream then the package maintainer would take care of that. It's extra work
on your side but less burden on the Tizen community/users because they can
search one bug DB for all issues and do not need to worry about tracking the
various upstream projects that Tizen leverages (and there are many of them).

What do you think about the one Qt5 component?
[Geoffroy] That works for me!
