A note on the gstreamer 0.10 manifest thingÅ The issue here is that we have two versions of gstreamer and related packages: 1.x and 0.10.x. The 1.x version comes from the tizen git branch. The 0.10.x version is coming from the tizen_2.1_compat branch. This is causing problems with the manifest because it is tracking whatever was most recently accepted into Tizen:IVI.
In http://download.tizen.org/snapshots/tizen/ivi/ivi/tizen_20140310.1/builddat a/manifest/tizen_20140310.1_ia32.xml, the accepted/tizen_ivi branch, which is what is used for manifest, is referencing the 0.10.x version. i.e. <project name="platform/upstream/gstreamer" path="platform/upstream/gstreamer" revision="submit/tizen_2.1_compat/20130618.045143-0-gc6f281fe983c9396cd1afe 493dc0464b05388df9"/> If we were to accept a change for the tizen branch 1.x version, the manifest would reflect that one instead, since it is most recent. We are working on sorting this issue out, and hopefully we will have it fixed soon. But as you can see, in cases where more than one package is generated from a single gerrit project, there can be issues with what winds up in the manifest, causing issues with rebuilding. Again, we are in the process of fixing this. Anyway, thought a little explanation on the origins of the issue might be useful.
