SDL's git repo is here: http://git.projects.genivi.org/smartdevicelink.git You can send patches to this list; https://lists.genivi.org/mailman/listinfo/genivi-smartdevicelink I note that someone from Tizen IVI very generously provided patches to the SDL list in the past and may not have received a timely answer. The SDL maintainers are aware of that. In addition, there are new maintainers for that particular repo and the expectation is that there will be much more information and more frequent code updates forthcoming. The expectation is that patches will be accepted or denied like any other Open Source project. I read the SDL mailing list and all the public GENIVI mailing lists so you can simply send a community related request to any of them should you wish. GENIVI lists are here and open to anyone: https://lists.genivi.org/mailman/listinfo Cheers, Jeremiah > > > > > > > Regards > > Joel > > > > > > *From:* [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] *On > Behalf Of *Jeremiah Foster > *Sent:* Wednesday, March 19, 2014 5:16 AM > *To:* [email protected]; [email protected] > *Subject:* Bugs against GENIVI components in Tizen's bug tracker > > > > Hi, > > > > I note that there are a number of bugs in Tizen's bug tracker that are > labled or named "genivi": > https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TIVI-2846?jql=project%20%3D%20TIVI%20AND%20text%20~%20%22genivi%22 > > > > I wonder if those bugs have been forwarded upstream into GENIVI's bug > tracker; http://bugs.genivi.org/ > > > > This is considered a best practice in Open Source software development and > is a good way to contribute back to the project that wrote the code you're > using. > > > > I've tried to get a log in to the Tizen bug tracker and cherry pick some > bugs to move myself but I have not received permission to access the bug > database for changes (and it would be silly to have to fix the bug twice.) > > > > Can I ask that relevant GENIVI bugs be forwarded upstream? > > > > Cheers, > > > > Jeremiah > > > > -- > > ============================================= > Jeremiah C.
