Hi, Tulika, What snapshot version of SDK did you use? The latest stable version is snapshot 0423205459675642 (4/23). Please try snapshot 0423205459675642 (4/23) if your SDK is not.
I just tried to deploy and launch sample app - “GhostCluster” (with tizen.vehicle) on this version SDK. And it is workable. Please reply if you still have problem on that. Regards, Ziv BTW, The following is SDK wiki for your reference - https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Tizen_IVI_SDK From: IVI [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jones, Brian J Sent: Friday, May 02, 2014 7:47 AM To: Tulika Baranwal Cc: [email protected] Subject: RE: Reference Error : "tizen is not defined" Sorry I didn’t realize you were using the SDK. This is an issue with the SDK or its setup, I’m not familiar with it and don’t know if you can install packages. The SDK should come with wrt-plugins-ivi installed, but perhaps there is a setting that allows the Tizen web APIs to be used. I saw that a few others have run into this issue, you might look here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18366348/tizen-sdk-cant-find-variable-tizen And just in case, you are using the IVI version of the SDK correct? The Mobile version won’t work with tizen.vehicle. I read the same answer regarding the plugin on stackoverflow, but the issue is I tried running the same code in a newly installed tizen SDK on a different machine. But even that gave an error. Also in my config.xml I have given the vehicle privilege. If so, look at the journalctl output to see if it mentions anything about access being denied to tizen.vehicle. I have placed the vehicle privilege in the config.xml. Also I have a tizen support Library in my project. So, Any idea what could be wrong?
