Hi, Tulika,

Which Chrome version are you using? I have tried Web Simulator and it worked on
version 30.0.1599.101. Could you try it on version 30? Chrome maybe made great
changes after version 30 and we will try to reproduce this issue in the latest
version.

Best Regards,
Wenchao

The error you're getting makes me think that the Tizen environment isn't there.

What environment are you using to view the app?

Ok, and where exactly can i find the wrt-plugins-ivi ?
I read the same answer regarding the plugin on stackoverflow, but the issue is
I tried running the same code in a newly installed tizen SDK on a different
machine. But even that gave an error.
Also in my config.xml I have given the vehicle privilege.

Hi Tulika,

Check to make sure that wrt-plugins-ivi is still installed. If so, look at the
journalctl output to see if it mentions anything about access being denied to
tizen.vehicle. If you see denied messages, something might be incorrect in
your config.xml

Subject: Reference Error : "tizen is not defined"

Hi
While working on Tizen IVI Apps, I came around an exception "Reference Error :
tizen is not defined" for the line
                      var vehicle = tizen.vehicle;
The same piece of code was working fine, a few days back.
I have placed the vehicle privilege in the config.xml. Also I have a tizen
support Library in my project.
So, Any idea what could be wrong?
