Per Geoffroy, typically, if you have Shared Folders in the options section of the VM Player then /mnt/hgfs or /hgfs gets automatically created, but I didn’t see this with Tizen IVI. I searched elsewhere in Tizen IVI for a known file on my host system (maybe under a different directory name), but no luck. So another option besides scp would be to simply mount to a USB drive. Assuming your USB is found here: /dev/sdb1 then mount /dev/sdb1 <your path> This works for me. Tizen IVI) and more specifically the vmhgfs module in order to mount that shared folder in any Linux guest OS. I have tried that once (quite some time ago) and it did not work straight away, I did not investigate any further. I have been using ‘scp’ to transfer files between my VM and my host OS (or any other computer). I typically set-up the network in ‘bridge’ mode instead of the default ‘NAT’ mode.
