Hi Rudi,

The first thing I’d check is whether you have an antenna connected. Some
earlier versions of the NDiS-166 only had one antenna connector at the back and
you could therefore only have either BT or WiFi. It’s that’s the case, try to
open up the box and change the antenna to the other connector on the 6235 AGN
card for a quick verification that WiFi is functioning correctly.

Cheers,
Geoffroy

Subject: Wifi with Intel Centrino 6235 with Tizen IVI on NDIS166

I have Tizen IVI (don't exactly know what build but kernel 3.12.4-10.1) on
NDIS166 that has an Intel Centrino 6235 AGN with BT card installed.

BT works fine but Wifi does not.

Diagnostics:

  * iwlwifi and iwldvn modules are loaded.
  * The firmware seems to be the correct version: iwlwifi-6000g2b-6.mode.
  * ifconfig shows the device as wlan0.
  *   rfkill list shows
    0: hci0: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked:no
        Hard blocked: no
    3: phy2: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked:no
        Hard blocked: no
  *   connmanctl technologies
/net/connman/technologies/wifi
   Name = WIFI
   Type = wifi
   Powered = True
   Connected = False
   Tethering = False
   Hidden = False

However, when I scan for wifi networks the scanning finishes almost immediately
with "Scan completed for wifi" with no networks found (although there are a
couple of them around).

Any hints would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rudi
