There could be a conflict between net-config and connman. Could you please kill the net-config process and see if connmanctl will find wireless networks then?

Good point, and that stuff happened to me too before. Yes, the antennas are the right ones. Male antenna into female connector. I am completely stunned. I unloaded and reloaded the modules and more. To no avail. The interface shows up but it does not pick up any wifi networks. At the risk of making a fool of myself, make sure that the antennae you use are appropriate for the connectors at the back, I have spent a couple of days not so long ago trying to figure out why my wifi wouldn’t pick up the WiFi networks around me just to realize I had used a female antenna on a female connector… so there was no physical connection although I could just as easily screw it onto the platform ☺. I checked that. My NDIS-166 has two antennae and both main and aux are connected internally and I of course also attached the two antennas. It is rather weird. Some earlier versions of the NDiS-166 only had one antenna connector at the back and you could therefore only have either BT or WiFi. It’s that’s the case, try to open up the box and change the antenna to the other connector on the 6235 AGN card for a quick verification that WiFi is functioning correctly. BT works fine but Wifi does not. Diagnostics: * iwlwifi and iwldvn modules are loaded. * The firmware seems to be the correct version: iwlwifi-6000g2b-6.mode. * ifconfig shows the device as wlan0. * rfkill list shows 0: hci0: Bluetooth Soft blocked:no Hard blocked: no 3: phy2: Wireless LAN Soft blocked:no Hard blocked: no * connmanctl technologies /net/connman/technologies/wifi Name = WIFI Type = wifi Powered = True Connected = False Tethering = False Hidden = False However, when I scan for wifi networks the scanning finishes almost immediately with "Scan completed for wifi" with no networks found (although there are a couple of them around).
