Hi,

I am trying to run video on the wayland surface using Weston ivi shell. I
am able to run a video. But when I am trying to hide the layer on which I
render video, the screen goes corrupt.

Can anyone explain why this happens.

To hide the layer, I set the visibility of each surface in the layer to 0
and do a Weston commit on it.

Is this below observation of mine right,

When rendering video, frames are being written continuously on the surface.
Since I set visibility to zero when the frame is being rendered, I have this
error. If i pause the video and then make visibility equal to zero, it would
work ? Is this right ?

Thanks,
Sathish
