Sathish,

Please let me know a list of interface exactly you execute to control surfaces
or layers as well?

I think so.

what kind of corruption is it?

How about just pausing video without setting visibility zero. What output on
screen is it?

I guess before you set it to invisible, if the video application draw noise on
a surface, it will be shown.

Sathish,

video rendering and graphic are very platform specific.
Could you please let us know which version of Tizen IVI you use and what is
your HW platform?

Hi,

I am trying to run video on the wayland surface using Weston ivi shell. I am
able to run a video. But when I am trying to hide the layer on which I render
video, the screen goes corrupt.

Can anyone explain why this happens.

To hide the layer, I set the visibility of each surface in the layer to 0 and
do a Weston commit on it.

Is this below observation of mine right,

When rendering video, frames are being written continuously on the surface.
Since I set visibility to zero when the frame is being rendered, I have this
error. If i pause the video and then make visibility equal to zero, it would
work ? Is this right ?

Thanks,
Sathish
