Hi Zoltan,

Please push your patch to tizen branch. The “accepted/tizen_ivi” branch is
updated by backend service automatically where developers are not supposed to
push manually.

Thanks,
Ning

Subject: email-service

Hello,

I would like to contribute at least one crash fix to the Tizen email-service
project. Particularly the one under this path:

review.tizen.org:29418/platform/core/messaging/email-service<http://review.tizen.org:29418/platform/core/messaging/email-service>

But before I do, I would like to clarify a few things about the project.

First, if you pull the tizen branch (HEAD), it does not even compile. If you
trivially fix the compilation error, you'll get a build that is pretty much
non-functional. At least with the WRT Messaging API and/or the email-test-app.

So I pulled the accepted/tizen/ivi/stable branch, as that seemed to be the one
that's in the latest WRT (4/22) milestone. I fixed a crash that is clearly
reproducible in this version.

Even though the HEAD version contains significant code changes, it appears to
also be vulnerable to this crash.

So my first question is, should I contribute the patch to the HEAD or to the
stable branch? Also, I may be fixing additional issues in the project in the
upcoming weeks. Where do you recommend I contribute those fixes? And lastly,
does this project have a place in future Crosswalk milestones?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Zoltan
