Andy,

if you look at the code of Wayland / Weston including in Tizen Common and IVI you will notice that quite a few change have happen since 1.4.
The current Tizen Application Manager has not been tested which that old release and I am sorry to say that I do not know anyone that is likely going to do so.
You also need to look at the way the security works as Tizen requires a strict control of how the application are launched and access to the graphic sub system.

My advise would be that you align you Weston with the last IVI available, in order for you to be able to benefit from the support of the engineers working on the project.

Hi Schaufler

I can launch weston, and run EGL-APP in wayland terminal.

So i think weston is installed correctly.

Yes. If you have not installed your version of weston correctly it could cause any number of problems.

I tried to use open_app to launch app,it failed and the result is the same as using xwalk-launch.

I  analyzed the limited error log  and found that process stoped at xwalk [ApplicationService::Launch].

Could anyone give me some advice?

Best regards.
