Looks like I had two entries in my modprobe.conf to set the cardtype. Once I removed the duplicate entry and did a shutdown/reboot, the system came up and detected dual 250s.

I think the warnings reported below are because the ivtv driver thinks I have 350s so it is trying to set up the onboard decoder? Other than the weirdness of the messages, both 250s seem to work fine. I have tried to override this in my modprobe.conf, but it has not worked. If I leave out the "options ivtv" line, or put it in, it behaves the same either way.
Maybe I should just leave well enough alone? Any ideas?
