Have you tested r2950 and r2961? Please provide the results for these
specific revisions. My guess is that 2950 works and 2961 doesn't, but I
need the test results for these revisions.
If my guess is wrong, then please report that. If I am correct, then I'd
like you to do the following test with r2961:
Before loading ivtv, first load the tuner with 'modprobe tuner
tuner_debug=1', and then load ivtv. Select a known channel and again
run ivtvctl --log-status. Please post the kernel log starting with the
debug tuner messages from the channel change. It all looks like
something is wrong with the tuner settings.
Oh, and don't use MythTV. Use ivtv-tune to select the channel and just
run 'cat /dev/videoX >test.mpg' to capture video. Look at it with xine
or mplayer. Nothing wrong with MythTV but I prefer to keep the chain of
events as short as possible.
