I have just bought a PVR-150 MCE. Here's what lspci says about it:

I need to have closed captions, but, as far as I understand, ivtv is not
there yet in this respect (in what concerns PVR 150/500). Is there any
testing/development/ultra-unstable code that I could use and that would
give me some closed captions with this card? My final goal is to extract
the captions and keep them in a text file for each show that I'm
recording (research purposes).
On a related note: what card would be the best for such purposes? I.e.
what card out there will almost surely produce closed captions with
ivtv? Can someone confirm that captions work with PVR 250 or 350?
Price is more or less not an issue, as long as is works with ivtv.
