Hi, when installing kernel 2.6.16-r1 and ivtv-0.6.1, dmesg informed me :
ivtv: ====================== NEXT CARD ====================== ivtv1: Unknown card: vendor/device: 4444/0016 ivtv1: subsystem vendor/device: 0070/37f1 ivtv1: cx23416 based ivtv1: Defaulting to Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 card Actually this is a PVR-150 MCE. BTW, this 'unknown' - or should i say 'newer' - card experiences the tinny audio issue with 2.6.15 and ivtv-0.4.2 on the PVR-150 using mythtv. I now believe this might be a specific issue as others with a similar setup (PVR-150 MCE / PVR 350) do not experience any problem (but they do also not get above message indicating they are actually using an 'older' card).
