As a reference, here is the same hardware with a 2.6.16-gentoo-r2 kernel and the latest ivtv. The errors are very similar with the addition of the "ivtv0: i2c hardware 0x00000001 not found for command 0xc008561c!" line. It would be very helpful if these error messages were in slightly more plain English, but in the meantime can anyone advise what they mean?
