Picking this list (as opposed to v4l, ATrpms or even MythTV) at random as the best place to query, as I'm not sure where the issue lies
So I updated my FC5 Myth box to the latest & greatest over the W/E, which includes ivtv 0.7 and the 2.6.17 kernel. Seems to be working a treat on my PVR-350 (although *possibly* the video seems a bit degraded when watching livetv, but I wasn't really looking). I then installed the latest video4linux cvs kmdl RPM from ATrpms (to try newer drivers for my Nova-T DVB card), rebooted, and got ... well, a sort of hang, but not your traditional kernel panic. I got a screen full of nasty looking errors, then after a moment I got some timeout error, then it seemed to have hung. I guess this is the point at which it had tried to load both ivtv and the Nova-T driver (cx88-dvb?). Should ivtv yet be able to play ball with v4l? What's the best way to go about diagnosing this given that I couldn't even 'boot s'? -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# rm -f .signature [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ls -l .signature ls: .signature: No such file or directory [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# exit _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-devel
