Hi Cecil,

I advise against using v4l-dvb right now due to many internal changes. 
I'm not even certain if ivtv-0.7 would work against v4l-dvb: the trunk 
ivtv is really meant for that, but the trunk still needs more work.

I know for a fact that v4l-dvb had similar problems that you reported, 
I'm not 100% sure about the current status, though, but I think it was 
fixed last week. It is also possible that you compiled ivtv against the 
wrong kernel headers.
