I think that you could be missing a module, try:

find /lib/modules/$(uname -r) -name "wm8775*"
find /lib/modules/$(uname -r) -name "ivtv*"
I didn't see the cx25840 in you ivtv output.
You could also try a depmod -ae
Do a lsmod you should see something like:

but the output will not be exactly the same for you, different kernel
and hardware.
