Hi all,
I've just released ivtv-0.10.4, available from www.ivtvdriver.org, as
usual.
This release is for kernels >= 2.6.18 and <= 2.6.21.x.
Main changes:
0.10.4 release
- Fix /dev/vbi16 handling.
- Add locking to ensure stream setup is atomic.
- Add High Volume debug flag to enable/disable the recurring
messages that appear during encoding/decoding.
Note on the 'high volume debug flag': if this flag is off, then all
debug messages that occur during encoding or decoding are suppressed.
This makes it much easier to debug bugs that only happen when a capture
starts or ends since this way the kernel log isn't flooded with debug
messages emitted while the capture is in progress.
See 'ivtvctl -h' on how to use the debug flag.
Enjoy!
Hans
