Had to increase the CX18_DEFAULT_ENC_TS_BUFFERS to 2 in cx18-driver.h and works now. Hans, I know you wrote that 1 was still overkill, but this might be specific to my machine. I had a lot of problems with video playback that were solved with an upgrade from a PCI to an AGP video card. Not sure if that's somehow related, but it works. (Details here of previous problems: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=17005). It's a Dell 8100, P4 1.8GHz, 768 RDRAM.
Video is watchable in LiveTV on KnoppMyth R5F27 but lurches once in awhile. - Anthony - As always, let me know if I can provide more info.
