CDW sells it for just under $150.  It doesn't say OEM in the description and 
the guy I spoke with says he's pretty sure it's the retail version...

Cool.  I was originally thinking that the PVR-500 was more similar to two 250s 
because, according to Hauppauge, it can also encode VCDs whereas the 150s 
can't.  (See compare PVRs)  No big deal.
