Hello all,

I have a recently purchased WinTV-PVR 350. After going through the "start
at Sourceforge and follow the magic crumbs" dance, I've built 0.2.0-rc3c.
The modules install without a problem (and apparently without error), but
I'm not able to get any sound or video from the card.

You missed a crumb... http://ivtv.no-ip.com/new_tuners

The card does appear to be "alive" -- setting the video input to 4 (the
tuner) yields video static, while setting it to anything else yields a
black screen (as seen by 'mplayer /dev/video0'). I have a device plugged
into the composite input (yellow) on the s-video/audio/video input cable
(and I've used 'ivtvctl -p' to cycle through all the available inputs), but
I've been unable to see the display.

All the available inputs? Including ivtvctl -p 5 (for composite)? Note that the tuner is ivtvctl -p 4

I have also been unable to get anything but silence (actually, hiss) out of
the radio. Trying a:

 ./radio -s

Yields nothing but:

 saa7115: decoder enable output
 saa7115: decoder disable output

in the logs, and finds no available frequencies. The FM antennta is
attached, and there are a lot of strong stations in the area. I've tried
explicitly tuning it:

 ./radio -f 89.7

But I'm seeing the same behavior -- nothing but a quiet hiss.

Radio won't work until the tuner works...

Am I missing something obvious? I've looked through everything in the doc/
directory without much success.

Here's the log output while loading the modules:

...
ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.9-skas3-v7-001 SMP preempt 586 gcc-3.3
...
tveeprom: tuner = LG TAPE H001F MK3 (idx = 68, type = 47)

Linux 2.6.9 contains a broken definition for the LG TAPE tuner. Easiest fix is to upgrade to Linux 2.6.10. Otherwise, apply the patch as directed by the README at the link above.
