Do I have yet another new tuner? Couldn't find this anywhere searching the

module and tried type 50 and it seems to work. This is what I get from
tveeprom.

tvee: Hauppauge: model=32032, rev=B382, serial#=7260372
tvee: tuner=<unknown> (idx=82, type=-1)
tvee: tuner fmt=NTSC(M) (eeprom=0x08, v4l2=0x00001000)
tvee: audio_processor=MSP3440 (type=11)

Your tuner is known (it is a type 39) and supported (for autodetection, even) in current versions of ivtv. Note that using type 50 will give you problems with certain "transition" channels.

BTW, you might want to upgrade from 0.1.9 to the most current 0.2.0-rc release ( http://ivtv.no-ip.com/ ). Then, just make sure you adjust your module options--remove everything except:

# WinTV PVR-x50 support
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv

and, if you have a PVR-350 and are using its TV out, you can add a line to load ivtv-fb after ivtv is loaded (format will differ depending on whether you're using Linux 2.4 or Linux 2.6).
