Hello, I've just received my christmas gift for my work: a nice Toshiba Qosmio G10/27LDEW http://dynabook.com/pc/catalog/qosmio/041025lu/g10_spec.htm (it only exists here in Japan). But no way to use the ivtv driver.
I use the drivers 0.3.2 (a) with the last kernel (2.6.10). Output of /var/log/messages: ivtv: You've not seen the last of willy! ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv: version 0.3.2 (a) loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.10 preempt PENTIUMM gcc-3.4 ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info ivtv: between the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines when ivtv: mailing the ivtv-devel mailinglist. ivtv: Unknown card: vendor/device: 4444/0016, subsystem vendor/device: 1179/0001 ivtv: Defaulting to WinTV PVR 150 card ivtv: Please mail the vendor/device and subsystem vendor/device IDs and what kind of ivtv: card you have to the ivtv-devel mailinglist: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ivtv ivtv: Prefix your subject line with [UNKNOWN CARD]. ivtv: Found an iTVC16 based chip ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:02:09.0[A] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11 ivtv: Bus Mastering is not enabled ivtv: Error -6 on initialization ivtv-iTVC15_16_mpg2_encoder_card: probe of 0000:02:09.0 failed with error -6 ivtv: ==================== END INIT IVTV ==================== output of lspci -vvv : 02:09.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC16 (CX23416) MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01) Subsystem: Toshiba America Info Systems: Unknown device 0001 Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster- SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- Status: Cap+ 66Mhz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=medium >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 11 Region 0: Memory at 24000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=64M] Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2 Flags: PMEClk- DSI- D1- D2- AuxCurrent=0mA PME(D0-,D1-,D2-,D3hot-,D3cold-) Status: D0 PME-Enable- DSel=0 DScale=0 PME- Don't know what to do... -- "Trouble-a-cat limited" ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by: Beat the post-holiday blues Get a FREE limited edition SourceForge.net t-shirt from ThinkGeek.
