I have the PVR-150MCE NTSC (model 1042) and I get a good pictuer with the ivtv-0.3.2a driver but no audio. BUT!!! with the versions ivtv-0.3.2(b&c) all I get is static. Additionally, after installing either the b or c driver the computer requires a cold restart in order to get the card working again with the "a" version driver.
There is a thread specifically dedicated to the PVR-150MCE NTSC. It seems as though NO ONE has gotten the card working. I think we are all hoping that someone who knows what they are doing is actually working the problem. I have spent many hours looking at the cx25840-driver.c, cx25840-registers.c, cx25840-registers.h, cx25840-settings.h, and cx25840.c files to try and figure out why the version "a" driver partially works but the "b" driver fails completely. Unfortunately, the two versions are so different that I have been unable to identify a reason for the failure much less a fix. Not that I am really qualified to do it anyway.
