Hi,

dunno if anyone is following me answering myself on this thread but...I think I have found the problem here. It looks like the cards were overheating. I've added an extra fan sucking air from around the cards and haven't had a problem since. Recordings are now working excellently, but the machine sounds like a rocket ship :-)

thanks again for all your work guys,

Neale.

Hi,

I know you guys have put loads of work in on this and it's much
appreciated by everyone on this list I'm sure, Has anyone got any idea
on this?

I've now taken out the PVR250 card, because I thought it was some weird
interaction between the two cards, but I've now managed to get the
problem with just the PVR-350.

I managed to up the debug level to 255 about 2 seconds after the problem
started to occur and I get this which hopefully will shed some light.
I've attached the ivtv stuff from /var/log/messages and the output of
lspci -v. (Note that I 'fixed' the erroneous version reporting in
0.2.0.rc3d, so this *really* is that version).

thanks

Neale.

Here's a snippet of the debug output v. shortly after the problem occured, I've attached a longer trace too.
