Hi I thought I should do this properly and send this to [UNKNOWN CARD] as it says in the dmesg text.
The text says: Unknown card: vendor/device: 4444/0016, subsystem vendor/device 9005/0093 Found an iTVC16 based chip base addr: 0xd0000000 Enabling IRQ 10 for device 000:00:0e.0 Sharing IRQ 10 with 0000:00:05.0 Sharing IRQ 10 with 0000:00.07.0 Sharing IRQ 10 with 0000.00.09.2 Bus Mastering Enabled.<6>ivtv: Unreasonably low latency timer, setting to 64 (was 32) 22 (rev 1) at 00:0e.0, ivtv: irq: 10, latency: 64, memory: 0xd0000000 VIA PCI device: 0x3099 vendor: 0x1106 attempting ioremap at 0xd0000000 len 0x00800000 attempting ioremap at 0xd1000000 len 0x00800000 attempting ioremap at 0xd2000000 len 0x00010000 activation i2c... As you might have noticed I have posted to the list before, the /dev/video0 output looks ok but the audio is badly distorted. The /dev/video24 is audio at 96kHz (which is double what README.devices says). I assume if I create a video file using cat /dev/video0 > video.mpg and then split the audio from the video, convert the audio to 48kHz and merge the audio and video back together I would end up with some playable video. I would be grateful if you would let me know how to do the above so I can try it.
